Camden office of our client seeks a public finance associate attorney preferably with 1-5 years of relevant experience. The candidate will draft legal documents relating to a public and project finance transaction, including indentures, loan/security/collateral agreements, resolutions, opinions and memoranda, as well as other transaction documents relating to the financing of public, non-profit, and educational facilities. Will perform analysis and make or suggest opinions that impact the client. Prepare and enter daily time entries. Work to generate new clients through individual and firm-wide networking and marketing efforts. Experience with general project finance and securities laws is a plus. General real estate or corporate law practitioners will also be considered. New Jersey Bar admission is required. Additional Bar admissions are a plus.
The candidate must have a law degree from an accredited law school. Strong interest and aptitude for matters related to public finance are required. Should have a strong transactions background with excellent writing ability and experience working on complex, multi-party transactions. The ability to work within established systems and processes involving extensive collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals, and the office staff is required. Should be comfortable meeting with clients and public speaking. A commitment to maintaining a high level of proficiency in the most current and advanced legal techniques is needed.
