Associate Attorney

Philadelphia office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 0-10 years of legal experience. The candidate will conduct legal research and provides legal services on a wide variety of issues under personal injury law matters, including motor vehicle cases, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, etc. Draft demand packages, review medical records and communicate with insurance companies to obtain settlements for clients. May assist more senior attorneys in highly complex medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. Assist on other miscellaneous legal matters as needed. Work one on one with clients. Personal injury experience, a plus. Trial experience, a plus. Must be admitted to and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar. Admission to and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar is preferred.

The candidate must have a JD from an accredited law school. Must be knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and applicable software. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong research skills, ability to provide concise oral and written advice to clients. Must have a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the firm, including legal assistants, paralegals, other associate attorneys, and managing attorneys. Must have willingness to work extended hours to ensure that all work is complete. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Must be focused on getting the best possible outcome for clients. Must be detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, problem-solving in nature, and organized. Must be team player capable of working effectively with other individuals throughout the firm.
