New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a biotechnology trainer (counsel) with 5 years of legal experience in patent prosecution and counseling, either in a law firm or in-house legal department. The candidate will work with a focus on legal training for attorneys and technology specialists. Will work closely with shareholders and other supervising attorneys to identify needs and provide substantive legal training for attorneys and technology specialists, primarily focused on one-on-one training sessions for more junior practitioners. Depending on the skillset, the position may also have the opportunity to work one-on-one with practitioners in practice groups other than Biotech. Contribute to practice group and firm-wide training initiatives for all levels. Curate materials for firm-wide and Biotech group training portal to ensure information is current, easy to understand, and accessible. Monitor and inform the group of important legal developments relevant to the practice, supporting the writing and publication of external alerts on such developments. Collaborate with members of the Training Committee and LRPD team on special projects as needed. Some law firm experience is preferred.

The candidate must have a J.D. degree. An advanced degree in the life sciences is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong organizational and project management abilities with exceptional attention to detail are needed. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt are essential.
