Family Law Attorney

Miami office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks family law attorney with 1-2 years of working in a law firm on family law issues as well as real estate (determining marital property). The candidate will handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed. Will communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process. Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action. Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases. Keep client files properly organized and up to date. Should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also a must. Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants essential. Prior work or studies in criminal justice preferred. Should be a Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association). Must have litigation and courtroom experience. Family law experience is preferred. Similar experience in another area of law with similar requisite knowledge will be considered.

The candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations.
