Bend office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks attorney with experience. The candidate will join the Legal Resolutions team. Will serve in fast pace with ongoing urgencies, emotional emergencies and a culture built to support those who take full responsibility for the entire scope of their work from start to finish. The tasks and requests are varied based on the needs of the clients. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships, to interact effectively with clients, lawyers, courts, other mediators, county staff, and the general public. Maintain accurate and complete records, prepare accurate reports and resolve complex issues. Communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to fulfill physical demands of job, sensory demands (seeing and hearing), and cognitive demands (concentration, conceptualization, memorization). Should have mediation skills, knowledge of Oregon law, especially regarding mediation and family court, child custody and placement. Knowledge of mediation and case management techniques and ethics needed. Should have understanding of child developmental stages and the dynamics of domestic violence. Understanding of family court services, county, department, and court policies and procedures needed. Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Should have Oregon State Bar license.
