Trust and Estates Attorney

A reputable law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Trust and Estates Attorney with 3-5 years of relevant legal experience. This role involves estate planning, administration, and wealth transfer techniques, offering significant responsibility and client interaction. The position operates on a hybrid schedule, with three days in-office and two days remote weekly.

Duties:

• Manage estate planning and administration matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
• Provide asset protection strategies and implement wealth transfer techniques.
• Prepare estate tax and gift tax returns.
• Oversee probate administration and handle related legal procedures.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing superior service and personalized legal solutions.
• Take significant responsibility for managing cases and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trust and estates law.
• Expertise in estate planning, administration, and tax preparation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• LLM in Estate Planning or Tax (preferred).
