General Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a General Civil Litigation Associate Attorney for their Cumming, GA, location.

Job Overview: The General Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in various civil litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and appearing in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Research current caselaw
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Propound and respond to discovery requests
• Make courtroom appearances at local and appellate levels
• Maintain direct client contact with consultations, updates, and strategy meetings

Requirements:

• Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law from accredited universities
• Current admission to the State Bar of Georgia
• Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation; recent graduates will also be considered
• Self-starter with excellent oral, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education:

• Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law from accredited universities
