A well-established law firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join the Corporate Services Group in the Tacoma office. The successful candidate will manage high-level, strategic legal matters, oversee multiple cases, and contribute to the firm's business generation efforts. This position is ideal for an individual with significant experience in commercial real estate, looking to advance their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Manage multiple legal matters, ensuring smooth progression from inception to conclusion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and attorneys, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Work independently, producing quality legal work while meeting the required billing hours.
  • Generate and manage business through both individual and group efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with the highest ethical standards in legal practice.
  • Lead and delegate tasks to junior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Actively participate in client teams and eventually take the lead on client matters.
  • Influence the adoption of the firm’s values, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm, specializing in commercial real estate.
  • Strong ability to make decisions on client matters with minimal supervision.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral, with internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including task delegation and mentoring of junior attorneys.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative in leading matters.
  • Strong alignment with the firm's values, especially regarding diversity and inclusion.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in WA and good standing.
