Norfolk office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks commercial real estate attorney with 6+ years of experience. The candidate will draft purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, deeds for commercial real estate transactions. Will handle real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, manage the property evaluation process (including matters of the title and survey), prepare transaction documents, and manage the closing process. Coordinate and direct the review, management and preparation of commercial leasing and acquisition documentation. Review, analyze, prepare, and negotiate agreements for use in retail, industrial, and mixed-use developments including Reciprocal Easement Agreements (REA's) and Declarations of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R's). Review, analyze, prepare, and negotiate various agreements and instruments relating to leasing or other forms of occupancy including letters of intent, ground leases, assignments, subleases, renewals and amendments, workouts in and out of bankruptcy, SNDAs, estoppels, license agreements, temporary workspace agreements, and other similar instruments and agreements. Admission to the Virginia Bar in good standing or the ability to waive in. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

The candidate should have analytical and problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be skilled at meeting deadlines under significant time pressure. Should have ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client orientation. Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently. Must have ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently. Juris Doctorate degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association with an outstanding academic record.

Seven law offices are based in Virginia. The legal practice began thirty years ago. A fairly large group of well-established attorneys comprise their law firm. Practice areas are across-the-board. A number of their practice disciplines consist of corporate-public finance, family law, health care, labor-employment, litigation and senior housing-care team. The firm was recognized by a prominent law publication.
