Mid-Level Capital Markets Associate

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a wide range of federal and state consumer and commercial credit regulatory matters

• Conduct legal research related to financial services regulations at both state and federal levels

• Draft legal memoranda analyzing credit-related regulatory issues

• Participate in regulatory due diligence processes for lenders and investors

• Assist with end-to-end licensing procedures for financial services clients

• Support team members with additional regulatory and compliance-related projects as needed

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm setting

• Background in consumer credit regulation and licensing (preferred)

• Strong interest in regulatory law and financial services compliance

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

• Willingness to receive and act on professional feedback

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing (required)
