Washington, D.C. office of an AmLaw firm seeks patent prosecution team attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate must be experienced in preparing and electronics and software-related applications. An aptitude for portfolio development and client counseling a plus. Must have a USPTO Reg. No. and possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Should preferably have technical work experience in a computer or electrical engineering field, an advanced Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree, or significant prosecution experience in computer or electrical engineering fields. Corresponding State Bar (CA, GA, WA, CO, or NC ) required. Should preferably have education or patent prosecution work experience related to software technologies such as cloud, security encryption, mobile applications, databases, and networking.

The candidate must be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal skills.
