Duties:

• Handle diverse litigation matters across federal and state courts, focusing on complex commercial litigation.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal counsel.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Analyze complex legal and factual issues to provide sound legal advice and strategy.
• Lead and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff to ensure comprehensive client representation.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on complex commercial litigation.
• Experience with the Department of Justice is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Washington, DC, or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar.
