First Party Property Associate Litigation Attorney

A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a First Party Property Associate Litigation Attorney to handle various aspects of property litigation. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in first-party property litigation, including drafting legal motions, preparing for court proceedings, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel. A valid Florida Bar license is required.

Duties:

• Manage a variety of tasks in first-party property litigation, including case intake, review, and handling all aspects of discovery.
• Actively engage in mediation and trial preparation and representation.
• Draft and file legal motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
• Prepare for court proceedings and depositions, including organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address their concerns.
• Interact with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and manage case logistics.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development and strategy.
• Attend and participate in trials, hearings, and mediations as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in first-party property litigation.
• Proven experience in drafting legal motions, and preparing for court proceedings and depositions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and opposing counsel.
• A valid Florida Bar license (required).
• Previous experience in first-party property litigation is highly desirable.

Certifications:

• Valid Florida Bar license (required).
