Melbourne office of our client seeks attorney with 2 years of experience. The candidate will work files/cases (minimum six and one half billable hours daily). Will review all new files opened for accuracy/deadlines, diary any deadlines. Draft pleadings, orders, motions, and discovery documents on request. Draft Correspondence (Letters/Faxes/E-mail), Cover letters and Form letters. Draft Standard Documents for Filing: Civil Cover Sheets, Summons, Notices, Subpoenas, and Basic Motions (Motion for Default, Motion for Continuance). Draft Table of Tasks for monthly litigation team meeting. Prepare files for hearing/depositions/mediations, etc. including formatting Witness Outlines for Depositions and Exhibit Lists. Coordinate and schedule mediations, hearings, depositions, witness interviews. Prepare Event Notification Forms and organize files for all upcoming events. Draft cover letters to clients to accompany discovery documents and hearing notices. Review all mail, faxes, hand-deliveries, and all outgoing litigation items for dairying deadlines. Maintain and monitor deadlines. Organize and manage document production for easy reference (bate-stamping as well). Prepare Analysis of adversary answers to interrogatories, request to produce and request for admissions. Pre-complaint or Response research to evaluate issues. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Outline Depositions, work with senior attorneys. Follow procedure and implement case management plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and documentation of court and agency filing requirement/procedures. Maintain expert proficiency in cite-checking and proofreading. Maintain calendar, to include: reviewing incoming materials; determining priorities; docketing and communicating deadlines; delegating and distributing work assignments to ensure optimum workflow balance and compliance with jurisdictional rules and deadlines. Regularly and directly interact with representatives from federal agencies and courts and with clients, external interested parties, and members of government in order to achieve client and practice goals efficiently and effectively. Conduct short-and long-term projects as needed. Provide written performance appraisals for self. Complete weekly status reports. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Attend Bar functions and groups; meet with attorneys. Join networking and charitable organizations. Give presentations to target audiences. Must preferably have Florida litigation experience.

The candidate should have a JD degree. Must be proficient in the use of office software applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat).
