Bangkok office of an AmLaw firm seeks energy and infrastructure associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, energy and infrastructure projects, or banking and finance. The ideal candidate should have substantive experience in sophisticated transactional matters in these focus areas, having worked for a prominent business law firm or with an in-house legal department of a multinational corporation in Bangkok or regionally. Thai lawyer license is required. Thai Bar membership would be a plus. International working experience with US, UK or similar qualification would also be a plus. Master of Law (LL.M.) or equivalent advanced degree from overseas would also be an advantage.

The candidate should also have strong academic background, outstanding analytical ability, self-discipline and potential for practice leadership, and possess the maturity, judgment and confidence to take ownership of increasingly difficult assignments and work independently with clients and colleagues on complex projects in Thailand and internationally. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Thai and English is essential. Demonstrated ability to work within a team of lawyers in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual setting is needed.
