Associate Attorney

San Diego office of our client seeks associate attorney with 5 years of experience in the defense of workers compensation cases. The candidate focuses on Workers' Compensation and related matters. Is responsible for all aspects of the workers compensation case, including evaluating the merits of the case, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating, settling and litigating cases, if necessary. Manages a full caseload of workers compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity. Creates litigation plans, creates budget plans, if necessary. Conducts discovery, travels to court and other appearances. Tries cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction. Composes motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents. Prepares cases for trial. Communicates with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to effectively represent clients.
