Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level to senior energy transactional associate attorney with 4-6 years of experience at an AMLAW 100 firm representing renewable energy project developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, and buyers. The candidate should have experience working on project finance, M&A, and project development transactions, with a focus on project development matters. Must have experience reviewing (and ideally drafting and negotiating) material project documents, including power purchase, REC purchase, EPC, asset management, joint development, M&A, and related agreements. Experience in solar, wind, or battery projects is a must; experience with other emerging transaction types such as fuel cells, hydrogen projects, EV charging/infrastructure, and renewable fuels would be a plus. Should have a general familiarity with current industry trends affecting energy markets, energy regulations, mandates and taxes, and related incentive programs. Should have 4-6 years of experience representing renewable energy project developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, and buyers working on project finance, M&A, and project development transactions, with a focus on project development matters.
