Fort Lauderdale office of our client seeks associate attorney with 3-5 years of practice of law, preferably with 2-3 years in foreclosure and 1-2 in title resolution and claims work. The candidate will understand the foreclosure process, including litigation and title curative. Will review and analyze pre and post-judgment title issues to ensure marketable title to the clients. Draft pleadings and motions; represent client at contested and uncontested hearings. Be able to communicate with clients on issues that may affect the foreclosure and advise on possible courses of action and likely range of outcomes. Be familiar with title claims processing. Handle a large caseload while attending hearings and overseeing staff members. Should have a Florida Bar admission in good standing. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel is essential.
The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree.
