Roseville office of our client seeks a social security disability associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of representing clients at their disability hearings before an Administrative Law Judge, including file review, drafting pre and post-hearing briefs, client preparation, attending the hearing, and assistance with the oversight and management of non-attorney staff. Must be currently admitted to any State Bar.
The candidate must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Knowledge of the Social Security Disability process, laws, and procedures is required. Knowledge of medical terminology and common physical and mental impairments faced by SSD clients is needed. Proven ability to manage a large caseload is essential. Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
