Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a skilled mid- to Senior-Level Labor Associate Attorney with a strong background in traditional labor law, specializing in California employment law. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges and a solid understanding of federal and state employment laws.

Job Duties:

  • Handle a variety of traditional labor matters, including arbitrations, negotiations, grievances, and union-related issues.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before the NLRB and other administrative agencies.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment issues.
  • Assist with employment litigation matters and agency charges as needed.
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, and hearings.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing traditional labor and employment law in California.
  • Proven experience with arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Prior NLRB experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
