New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a capital markets securitization associate attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience. The candidate will manage the interests of clients who will include leading financial institutions, corporate issuers, and investment fund managers. Will anticipate clients' needs and craft creative solutions to the problems. Distill complex information into clear and insightful analyses that inform and strengthen the client's position. Actively participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring other associates. Will gain experience of a wide range of high-value transactions, including complex special lending situations and workouts and in esoteric or non-traditional securitizations, including whole business securitizations, intricate multi-issuance platforms, and securitizations involving risks that go beyond traditional financial assets. Should preferably have experience in the representation of arrangers, sponsors, issuers, and investors in securitization and structured finance transactions, including whole-business securitizations, asset-backed financings, receivable financings, collateralized loan obligation issuances, and refinancings. Experience training junior associates and assisting senior associates and partners to manage transactions from commencement to completion is required.

The candidate must have a strong academic record. Excellent drafting skills are required. Strong organizational and time management skills will also be significant assets. Should have the analytical rigor to grasp the legal intricacies of complex transactions in the whole business/esoteric markets as well as in the CLO space. Must demonstrate a talent for technical legal drafting, understand credit and be comfortable working with a wide variety of material, including offering documents, indentures, and associated transaction documentation.
