Labor & Employment Law Associate

Job Overview
A prominent Texas-based law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–3 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment Law Practice Group in Dallas. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to receive direct mentorship, early responsibility, and hands-on experience representing employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including litigation, training, and compliance counseling.

Duties

• Represent employer clients in all aspects of labor and employment law

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on employment-related policies, practices, and disputes

• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and policies

• Assist in internal investigations and employment audits

• Participate in litigation and administrative proceedings before courts and governmental agencies

• Support client training on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

• Conduct legal research on labor law trends and case developments

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and resolution

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience practicing law (prior exposure to labor & employment law through internships or coursework strongly preferred)

• Demonstrated interest in employment law and workplace litigation

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Strong work ethic and commitment to professional development

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas or actively seeking admission
