Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks post-conviction criminal defense attorney with experience handling criminal cases at the state and local levels. The candidate will advise clients on their legal rights in matters and draw up legal documents about their case. Will be responsible for post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, early termination of probation, etc. Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, as this position would have interactions with both criminal and immigration practices. Attend motion hearings on behalf of clients and advise clients following each hearing about best strategies. Handle open criminal cases including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing on behalf of other criminal attorneys within the firm. Manage court appearances, draft motions, interview clients, and perform legal research. Analyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents. Manage workload of cases. Provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits. Criminal defense experience or immigration law experience is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.

The candidate should be a team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates. Must have interpersonal skills of the highest caliber.
