Mid- to Senior-level Labor Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Labor Associate Attorney in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in traditional labor and employment law, with a focus on arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges. The candidate should have a solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and be capable of handling employment litigation and agency charges. Strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and active membership in the Bar with admission to practice in Washington are essential.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of labor and employment law matters, with a particular emphasis on arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges.
• Provide legal counsel on federal and state employment laws to clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings and court hearings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in traditional labor and employment law.
• General understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience in employment litigation and agency charges is beneficial.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.
• Active member of the Bar with admission to practice in Washington.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
