Department Managing Attorney

Atlanta office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a department managing attorney with 8 years or more of insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation experience. The candidate will manage a diverse caseload and team. Serve as lead counsel on a broad range of cases throughout Georgia. Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia. Jury trial experience as a first-chair or significant second-chair experience is required. Should have trial experience in any general liability, automobile, products liability, property, trucking/commercial vehicle, or related areas of insurance defense litigation.

The candidate must be able to manage a team independently. Must be comfortable supervising team production and billing. Must have the ability to work well with others and lead a team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants. Must be able to interact with firm clients and participate in continuing education presentations. Must have the ability to travel as needed.
