Defense Associate Attorney

Tampa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience working in a defense law firm. The candidate will be managing full case load from case inception to post-trial. Will be attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Preparing pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents. Preparing reports to insurance carriers regarding case status. Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines. Ability to meet billing requirements. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ProLaw is a plus. Should be a member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar.

The candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, and other office staff in a professional manner is needed. Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary is essential. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
