Atlanta office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a staff attorney with 1-2 years of experience. The candidate will establish initial communication with clients and maintain file progress from inception. Handle all file communication pre-suit. Act as the center of communication for client, senior attorneys, med providers, lien holders, and Insurance companies. Coordinate medical care for clients as necessary. Educate the client on processes and set appropriate client expectations. Escalate issues to the managing attorney as appropriate. Gather all records and bills necessary to advance the case. Manage a large caseload proactively using the case management system by working the assigned task list aggressively to move cases. Evaluate merits of the claim and negotiate settlements. Communicate with opposing counsel and the insurance company. Determine the necessity of litigation and pursue litigation cases of all sizes aggressively. Maintain all client relationships in the best interest of the firm, including educating the client on processes and set appropriate client expectations. Initiate a positive introduction with potential and existing clients, and obtain signatures for contracts of potential new clients. Openly communicate with all clients and set expectations early. Return all client calls promptly (including nights and weekends). Perform all intake and case management duties willfully and with consistent attention to detail. Contact clients regularly to maintain a clear and high level of communication. Meet with clients via Zoom and in person onsite when needed. Initial review of case facts. Monitor treatment progress, management of client relationships with various medical and service providers, and set up treatments when needed. Draft and Review demands and all pre-litigation documentation, and initiation of the litigation process to ensure all timelines are met. Maintain a personal calendar of all deadlines. Meet with the client to assess the necessity of litigation. Review of Complaints. Preparation of Interrogatories and Responses. Mediation and Trial Prep. State Court and Mag Court Hearings. Set up Closing/Settlement meetings with clients, and perform Closings when complete. Obtain Feedback from clients and encourage referral business. Track and report on case expenses and office expenses management of cost control, expense recoupment and fee collection. Maintain an organized filing system and open communication with the managing attorneys of the firm. Monitor and resolve un-cleared items on Trust and Business accounts. Other duties as requested or assigned. Newly barred and will be heavily considered. Experience with QuickBooks and Case Management Software preferred. Previous personal injury or auto insurance experience Spanish Speakers strongly preferred.

The candidate must have a JD degree. Must take all cases within a pipeline from the first phone call to the result of the case while consistently maintaining a high level of client service and attention. Must be able to focus on the entire process of the case, which includes gathering police reports, medical records, coordinating medical care for clients, drafting letters and demands, maintaining a pristine calendar of deadlines, and handling negotiations and pre-litigation tasks. Must be able to analyze and research information and document and manage a high-volume caseload independently. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate acute attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written and communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and able to function at a higher level of organization. Must coordinate work efforts with the managing partner and senior attorneys within the practice. Excellent organizational, written and communication skills are essential. Litigation and negotiation experience required. Must handle all required closings onsite or via DocuSign with clients maintaining a high level of client service and attention to detail.
