Honolulu office of our client seeks litigation attorney with experience with judicial foreclosure matters. The candidate will manage Hawaii litigation cases with emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactions matters, and to protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings. Will manage cases from inception to completion. Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies. Draft court pleadings. Handle discovery, including filing and defense of motions. Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person. Perform other duties and special projects as needed. Must have an active license to practice law in the state of Hawaii, or alternatively, have an active license to practice law in California and be willing to obtain a license to practice law in Hawaii. Previous experience in litigation, real estate and/or mortgage law is preferred. Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.

The candidate must have excellent written/analytical/oral advocacy skills. Must have a Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate degree. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must have ability to interpret client systems.
