Personal Injury and Litigation Attorney

Honolulu office of our client seeks a personal injury and litigation attorney with experience. The candidate will handle all aspects of the litigation process including, direct contact with clients and counsel, drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery, legal research including case law research, and appearing in court. Will manage multiple functions simultaneously. Direct and oversee the work of Case Managers, Paralegals, or other support staff. Assess and prioritize tasks in order to forecast and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Financial hygiene, including accurately tracking time and expenses and assigning such to the proper client. Communicate effectively and efficiently. Reviewing intake and eligibility of cases. Insurance statutes and policies. Accurately managing client-based care and correspondences, when needed. Discovery/pleading / motion drafting and review. Legal research, including case law research and government agency policies and procedures. Experience with Plaintiffs side litigation is a plus. Must have an interest in personal injury and civil litigation. Familiarity with California laws and procedures is preferred.
