Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks international attorney with 24 months as Foreign Legal Consultant or related position involved in international arbitration matters. The candidate will be providing advice and guidance to clients with plans to make foreign investments concerning the optimal treaty and contractual regime designed to safeguard the planned investment. Will be providing advice to governments and private investors on strategies for investor state disputes avoidance, prosecution and defense, and the amicable settlement of such disputes. Research and draft memoranda of law in international arbitration proceedings. Providing expertise as part of the firm International Arbitration team in the defense and prosecution of investor-state disputes. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions and other related international arbitration documents. Represent clients in international arbitration matters. Developing international business, especially in Europe and Africa for the firm International business practice groups. Should have a Master of Law. Ability to draft and prepare pleadings in French essential. Experience appearing before the World Banks International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Tribunal needed. Experience appearing before ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) Arbitral Tribunal essential.
