Litigation Associate Attorney

Dallas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a litigation associate attorney with 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with a federal clerkship. The candidate will manage litigation matters independently from client intake through final judgment. Will conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions. Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions. Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration. Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, resolving discovery disputes, managing e-discovery, and taking and defending depositions. Provide guidance and advice to clients. Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws. Must be a Member of the State Bar of Texas in good standing.

The candidate should have Bachelors degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree). Must be able to handle heavy workloads with little supervision. Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills.
