Associate Coverage Attorney

Garden City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate coverage attorney with 10+ years of experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, reinsurance, regulatory, and compliance counseling, and litigation. The candidate will work on complex challenging insurance and reinsurance legal issues. Will handle assigned caseload independently and supervise other insurance coverage lawyers. Analyze insurance and reinsurance policies, draft insurance coverage opinions, and respond to regulatory inquiries. Communicate with clients and provide recommendations. Maintain an excellent relationship with clients, including complying with all client guidelines. Handle assigned caseload both independently and with supervision commensurate with experience. Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery. Manage depositions, court appearances, and motion practice commensurate with experience. Should be a senior associate or junior partner admitted to practice in the State of New York. PA, NJ, and/or CT Bar admissions would be a plus. Litigation experience is a plus. Federal Court experience is also a plus.

The candidate must have exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Must take pride in delivering error-free products.
