Austin office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience in bioinformatics. The candidate will conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters. A Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics or related field is required. Must have a solid understanding of biochemistry, particularly next-gen sequencing, sequencing data, and/or fluorescence imaging of biochemical moieties. An active membership in the State Bar and compliance with CLE requirements is essential. Must be registered before the USPTO.

The candidate must have superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Should enjoy communicating with a diverse groups of clients, attorneys, and staff. Must be enthusiastic about working within a team-oriented environment and contribute to effective team relationships.
