Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks insurance coverage associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will independently manage a caseload of complex insurance coverage and defense matters, working cases from beginning to end. Will represent clients in a wide range of insurance coverage and defense claims. Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects, relating to a variety of different matters. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Should specialize in insurance coverage opinions as well as concentrate in coverage litigation. Must be admitted to practice in the state of California. Experience in areas of insurance coverage such as coverage opinions (CGL, Auto, E&O & D&O) and litigation, including the defense of extra-contractual litigation and excess claims with respect to various types of insurance policies are essential. Experience in both third-party and first-party claims are needed. Experience handling policy wordings, reinsurance contracts, program management, auditing of programs and coverage for multi-million dollar judgments are essential. Legal project management experience is helpful.

The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited law school. Excellent written and oral communications skills are needed.
