Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an associate with 6 years of commercial litigation experience and/or judicial clerkship experience to join its team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and communication skills. A background in law review or judicial clerkships is preferred. This role requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters across various industries
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear and persuasive legal documents
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior associates and partners
• Manage discovery, including depositions, document review, and witness preparation
• Advise clients on legal issues and case developments
• Foster strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
• Contribute to the firm's reputation through excellent legal work and teamwork

Requirements:

• 6 years of commercial litigation experience or judicial clerkship experience
• Strong research and writing abilities
• Excellent oral communication and legal advocacy skills
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a high level of organization
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Strong academic credentials, including law review, preferred

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in AZ
