Job Overview:

An established law firm specializing in providing comprehensive legal services to financial institutions, private firms, and commercial clients seeks an Associate Attorney focused on eviction matters. This role will involve guiding clients through the eviction process while upholding high standards of integrity and advocacy.

Duties

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of eviction matters, providing legal counsel and support to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court hearings; previous courtroom experience is advantageous.
  • Remain up-to-date with eviction law changes and industry trends across the United States.
  • Educate clients on recent developments and changes in eviction law.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the California State Bar with all necessary licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal practice; a background in eviction, foreclosure, or litigation is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.

Certifications

  • California State Bar license required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
