Blue Bell office of our client seeks an estate and elder law associate attorney with 3-5 years of estate and elder law experience. The candidate will prepare comprehensive simple to complex Estate Plans, using techniques to protect and preserve assets, reduce taxes, and accomplish client goals. Will handle Estate and Trust administration from start to finish. Analyze trust and estate planning documents and advise clients with respect to trustees' powers and duties, dispositive provisions, beneficiary rights, and tax treatment of distributions. Prepare and file petitions to protect clients and their property interests and to accomplish various goals for the client. Draft Special Needs Trusts. Handle and manage Medicaid long-term care applications and Guardianship cases. The ability to assist business clients with establishing and remaining compliant in running their businesses is a plus. Travel to and attend all Court hearings required by the firm (primarily Orphans Court in the surrounding Philadelphia Counties). Ability to travel to client homes, hospitals, and other locations where clients are when required. Oversight of the Probate and Trust Administration Coordinator, Medicaid Coordinator, Drafting Coordinator, and Funding Coordinator to ensure tasks are completed as required to accomplish legal service provided. Manage and oversee all client matters they are assigned and assist on matters not assigned when required by the managing attorney. Collaborate with clients financial and insurance professionals. Ensure all client calls/emails are handled timely. Ensure all correspondence is mailed in a timely manner. Actively participate in required firm calls and meetings and provide weekly reporting. Complete projects or tasks as requested by the managing attorney within the time frame allotted. Handle consultations to convert leads to new clients. Establish and maintain professional and community relationships that regularly refer prospects to the firm. Provide quality customer service to clients, potential clients, and their parties. Attend CLE and other training events as needed to stay on top of changes in the legal community. Adhere to all law firm systems and processes in delivering legal work to clients. Adhere to firm established core values. Assist the managing attorney with seminar and webinar presentations and other speaking engagements. Should have PA License. NJ License is a plus. Should preferably have experience in the areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey estate and trust planning and administration with a background representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the administration of trusts and estates. Experience with private foundations and closely held business matters is a plus. Should have Orphan's Court Experience (Guardianship and Estate litigation).

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for client service. Must be personable, hard-working, and team-oriented. A J.D. degree is required. Excellent writing skills are needed. Must be highly developed time management, organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask with clarity. Should be skilled at getting information by observing, receiving, and/or researching to obtain information from relevant sources. Skilled in listening and identifying issues and able to show prospective clients the value our firm can provide, so they willingly engage us needed. Demonstrate aptitude for working in sensitive environments requiring a high degree of confidentiality is required. Must be self-Managing with the Ability to Take Initiative in Problem-Solving. Ability to Thrive in a High-Paced Environment is required. Should have the ability to pay close attention to detail, organize and schedule work effectively, work efficiently under time constraints in a fast-paced environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be a proactive team player. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are needed.
