Litigation Associate Attorney

Houston office of our client seeks litigation associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience, preferably in employment or personal injury law. The candidate will provide superior legal services to our clients and lead a team of legal assistants. Will prepare cases for settlement or litigation by reviewing and evaluating cases; manage case preparation. Manage cases through discovery, mediation, trial, and settlement. Provide clients with legal advice by conducting legal research; keeping them abreast of case developments; providing legal explanations. Develop cases by assigning proper tasks to legal team of assistants and providing legal guidance; monitor case progress; maintain quality service. Complete cases by following productivity and quality standards; resolve operational problems; identify work process improvements. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.

The candidate must have done well in law school, class rank. Professional appearance, excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with clients is required. Must have client confidentiality, research skills, written communication, legal compliance, presentation skills, analyzing information , litigation, client contact skills, planning, process improvement, administrative writing skills.
