Corporate Associate Attorney

London office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a corporate associate attorney with`2-4 years post qualification experience. The candidate will be a key member of the team from the start; drafting and negotiating a range of documents, such as share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders and investment agreements, articles of association and related transaction documents. Produce good first drafts of a suite of documents and help lead the delivery of a transaction. The transactions are frequently international, and the clients will be a mixture of investors, founders, entrepreneurs, and corporates. Must have experience and interests of the successful applicant, the role may encompass the full range of corporate M&A, venture capital investment and advisory work, working in a wide range of sectors, including our well-regarded technology practice. Experience in partnership/LLP law, share incentives and/or capital markets may be helpful.

The candidate must have excellent academics and the benefit of broad training in a well-regarded Corporate department. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be an effective team player and be able to work effectively in an established, close-knit team. Must have an enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style. Must have the willingness to take responsibility and the ability to form strong working relationships across all areas of the practice. Must have the excellent technical ability and solid drafting skills. Must have ability to communicate and handle client contact (both internal and external) from the outset. Must have a commercial and pragmatic outlook. Must have familiarity with technology e.g. excel, word.
