The ideal candidate will work closely with Environmental attorneys, both locally and firm-wide, to deliver high-quality legal services in the field of environmental law. This role demands dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.


  • Conduct legal research and provide assistance in drafting legal documents.
  • Engage with clients across various industries, addressing federal and state environmental laws and compliance matters.
  • Represent clients before regulatory agencies and advocate for their interests in legislation, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage administrative enforcement actions and handle federal and state trial and appellate court litigation.
  • Focus on complex environmental topics, including contaminated site remediation, hazardous substance management, worker safety, risk assessment, natural resource damage, and crisis management.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, determination, and common sense while fostering confidence and producing high-quality work.
  • Exhibit a strong interest in environmental law, particularly serving industrial clients.


  • A '21/'22/'23 law school graduate with relevant education or experience in environmental science and environmental and administrative law.
  • Exceptional academic performance.
  • Outstanding analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ethics and conduct codes is required for the practice of law.
  • Eligible to become a member of or admitted into the Texas Bar.
