Bethesda office of our client seeks commercial real estate attorney with 2+ years of relevant commercial real estate and/or corporate transactional experience. The candidate will work on a range of types of transactions in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Will draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents (e.g., purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, etc.). Review and analyze due diligence materials for real estate closings. Review title and survey. Draft and review entity governing and authorization documents. Organize and coordinate closings. Should preferably have experience representing owners, developers, and lenders in drafting agreements relating to the acquisition, financing, development, sale, and leasing of real estate. Must be a current active member of the Maryland, Virginia, or DC Bar (in good standing).
The candidate must have a J.D. degree from ABA-accredited law school and strong academic performance. Additional requirements include strong organizational and writing skills, refined oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and a desire to excel in a growing firm transitioning to the next generation. Must be a driven, self-starter with excellent analytical and writing skills that is willing and able to handle multiple transactions from start to finish. Should be able to work independently or collaboratively as circumstances dictate.
