Los Angeles office of an AmLaw firm seeks privacy and data security associate attorney with 3-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience counseling clients on privacy and data security matters, including incident response and investigations, regulatory, and litigation matters. Experience drafting information security and privacy contractual provisions, including warranties and representations, specific indemnities and information security addendums for vendors, and developing ongoing audit and review protocols is a plus. Experience developing proactive programs to comply with state, federal and international cybersecurity and privacy laws and regulations is preferred. Bar membership in good standing is essential.

The candidate should have outstanding academic credentials. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential. Strong writing, research and analytical skills are needed.
