Construction And Design Litigation Attorney

Denver office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a construction and design litigation attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The candidate will be interviewing and meeting with client representatives. Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy. Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred. Taking and defending facts and expert depositions. Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting. Management and delegation of work to paralegals. Construction contract drafting and negotiation. Schedule and payment claim experience. Marketing and business development interest. Should have experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation. Must have experience with all facets of pre-trial motions. Experience with large exposure cases, multi-party litigation, complex construction, and design matters is required. Experience with large document production and database matters is needed. The first chair's mediation experience is essential. First chair trial/arbitration experience preferred. Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations preferred. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. Should preferably have experience in representing developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors. Trial and/or arbitration experience is always a plus.

The candidate should have a strong work ethic and proven case management skills. Must have excellent communication and analytical skills. Exceptional research and writing skills are needed. The ability to travel is required. Must have competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
