Columbus office of our client seeks litigation attorney with 1+ year of experience. The candidate will handle matters involving litigation, arbitration, and other adversarial proceedings. Must have substantial and intimate experience managing adversarial proceedings from start to finish, involving litigation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement discussions and negotiations. Experience drafting all necessary legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, answers, discovery requests, interrogatories, requests for admissions, and requests for production of documents is essential. Experience researching and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for use in the development of legal arguments and litigation strategy is needed. Experience with trial preparation, including the interviewing of clients and witnesses, and attending and facilitating depositions is required. Completion of a judicial clerkship is preferred. An active license to practice law in the state of Ohio is needed.
