Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks mid-level construction associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience, complex construction projects and government contracts. The ideal candidate must have experience representing owners, contractors, design professional and/or sureties in the drafting, negotiating and administration of contracts as well as domestic and international litigation; and have experience with some of the following construction matters: procurement-related issues, contract administration, risk management, dispute avoidance, claim documentation, equitable adjustments, impact and delay claims, default terminations, change order and extra work disputes, requests for equitable adjustments, payment and performance bond claims, mechanics' liens, prompt payment and conditional payment disputes, construction and design defects, and bid protests. Must be admitted to DC Bar, with Virginia and Maryland desired as well.

Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required.
