A well-established plaintiff personal injury law firm in Stuart, FL is seeking a highly experienced Pre-Suit Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload. This role is ideal for a Florida-licensed attorney with at least seven years of experience in personal injury law. The position requires strong negotiation, legal analysis, and team leadership skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in client advocacy and case resolution during the pre-litigation phase.

Duties

  • Evaluate and analyze the merits of personal injury cases through legal research and medical documentation

  • Provide legal counsel and regular case updates to clients

  • Supervise and guide legal support staff with professionalism and empathy

  • Draft legal documents including demand letters

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to achieve optimal outcomes

  • Identify and resolve legal and medical issues relevant to case value and liability

  • Review and analyze medical treatment, billing, liens, and collateral sources

  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams

  • Assist clients in coordinating appropriate medical care and benefits

  • Optionally participate in litigation proceedings, including depositions and hearings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in personal injury law

  • No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications
