Addison office of our client seeks an attorney with 0-3 years of experience in the representation of financial institutions in real estate-related matters. The candidate will provide legal advice to the Firms mortgage servicing clients. Will review and prepare legal notices, Rule 120 Pleadings, and other title documents such as assignments and deeds required under the Colorado foreclosure process. Review and prepare notices as necessary for Federal Debt Compliance Act. Review and analyze title defects. Prepare title curative documents. File title claims and works with title companies to cure title defects. Review and analyze issues arising from debtor/attorney disputes. Communicate with borrowers, attorneys, and clients regarding the resolution of disputes. Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes. Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and any other necessary legal documentation during the course of litigation in State District and County Courts, Probate Courts, Appellate Courts, and Federal District Courts. Handle civil litigation cases from referral to resolution, which may necessitate the use of written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, trial, and appellate court briefing and argument. Must be Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.

The candidate should have Bachelors Degree or higher. Must have a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) are needed. Must have the ability to work through complex mortgage-related issues.
