Colmar office of our client seeks a family law associate attorney preferably with 3 years of experience practicing family law. The candidate will draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence and attend court appearances. Will advocate on behalf of clients interests. Highly motivated, able to manage/prioritize large caseload. Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures. Consulting with clients, providing counsel, helping them understand their legal options, establishing strategies, and representing them in court and negotiations. Compassion and empathy for clients and talent for gaining confidence and respect. Must have litigation experience with the ability to try cases if necessary. Must be proficient in MS Word and Adobe and comfortable learning new programs. Knowledge of MyCase and/or family law software is a plus. Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania is required.
The candidate should have exceptional communication, litigation, and client relation skills. Must be extremely organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on files. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, court, opposing counsel, and firm staff are required. Must be friendly and engaging with clients and staff members. Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive are required. Must be able to work independently, manage workflow, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, small business environment. Willing to be a strong advocate for clients is needed. Strong organizational and time management skills are needed.
