Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft documentation for property acquisitions and dispositions
  • Represent clients in real estate financing transactions, including borrower and lender-side matters

  • Communicate with clients regarding strategy, timelines, and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with internal legal teams, partners, and stakeholders on multifaceted real estate deals
  • Keep current with developments in real estate law and regulatory matters impacting clients

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in real estate transactions at a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage aspects of complex real estate matters
  • Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; eligibility for admission in TX is required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the TX Bar or ability to obtain admission through reciprocity

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
