Santa Monica office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks employment and labor resource attorney with 5+ years of experience in the Employment and Labor practice area. The candidate will be keeping current on all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Employment and Labor practice group. Will be developing topics for and assisting in the preparation of client alerts, white papers, blog posts and similar publications. Developing practice resources that will enhance the exchange of know-how within the Employment and Labor practice group and facilitate interaction with clients and prospective clients. Creating, maintaining and updating archives of work product and know-how within the Employment and Labor practice group. Assisting with coordination of speaking arrangements, webinars and materials. Maintaining and updating forms and templates as appropriate for the Employment and Labor practice group, and ensuring forms reflect current legal developments, industry-accepted terms and input from attorneys within the practice groups. Working with the Marketing department to formulate and execute on the branding and presence for the Employment and Labor practice group. Collecting and providing information to the Marketing department to assist that team with responses to RFPs and other opportunities for business development. Working with resources within the Employment and Labor practice group to foster consistency, know-how and approach with clients and prospective clients. Coordinating with Professional Development to ensure and enhance the skills development of members of the Employment and Labor practice group and firm wide training. Coordinating with Information Services to assess available technologies and to develop new solutions that can be used to leverage efficiencies within the Employment and Labor practice group, as well as the delivery of services by the practice groups. Should have mastery of the substantive area of practice undertaken by the Employment and Labor practice group. Must have knowledge of the industries that firm regularly advises. Must be a licensed attorney.

The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills. Must be confident and engaging presenter. Should have strong intellectual ability, interpersonal and technical skills. Must be self-starter. Must be team player. Should have organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.
